The Novotel Suites Gare Lille Europe hotel is close to the Eurostar station and just 5 minutes on foot from the city center. It is always a pleasure to receive positive feedback. The bedroom was cold and when i asked for a blanked i was given a first aid kit blanket, which is unhygenic and i didnt want to use. The only disappointment was that there was not a nicer bar and restaurant area serving hot food in the evening as the weather was very bad and I still had to go outside for dinnerI stayed there for 4 nights. I really wish the Accor website spelt out clearly what the difference is between the hotels...The hotel is very well located, close to the train station and to the city center. Coffee maker, fridge and microwave in the room, large TV with chromecast allows connection to a smartphone. When we arrived, there was only one person on reception but we had to wait quite a while to be attended to because the receptionist doubled as the barista and the waitress for the bar area, so she was busy fetching, carrying and making coffees while we waited. We were left with double sheets not singles so had to make the bed up as a double for our children so they did not sleep well. If only every hotel stay could be like this!Good location .. opposite Gare Lille Europe.
