As other reviewers have said, the airport welcome was poor (we assumed because of our last minute booking), but the island of Maupiti is beautiful, and the ride to the motu very scenic.
We were not told where the bathrooms were hidden. Sleep, on the ancient 4" foam mattress, that flattened to the boards, was sufficiently non existent, that we certainly didn't need our 5 am alarm to get up in time for the 6 am boat to the airport.
