The lodge is beautiful, with beautiful views of the ocean and the sunset.

Thanks to owner Nathalie and her daughter Lea, the place feels like home right away and we shared lots of laughter with them.

The second tour was to the northeast side of the island to visit the village and see Lemurs..... LOTS of Lemurs. Nosy Komba is a superb island, taking the form of a former volcano today covered with a luxuriant primal forest.

We stayed at the Tsara Komba Lodge for 3 nights from the 22nd to 25th Sept 2019. We also kayaked around the coast, and snorkelled with turtles which feed right outside the lodge every morning. The only thing I missed was the home made vanilla ice cream, it gives us a reason to go back!!

The bed was very comfortable, great shower (always had hot water, which was not a common theme in other places we stayed) and the large outdoor deck with very comfortable lounge chairs was perfect for the afternoon nap. We did take a double kayak out from the beach though, and kayaked one morning around to the fourth bay to the right where there was some nice coral and we snorkelled with fish and a turtle.

It was indeed a real pleasure to have you both with us and we hope to welcome you soon back in your Madagascar Home.

We really enjoyed them. Mandatory fees. Stunningly delicious food every night (included in the room price), made to an amazing quality - the thazard tartare and tuna steak (line caught that morning whilst whale watching) were absolutely sublime.

They could not do enough for us, lovely food, cocktails, trips, with beautiful lodges.

The Staff are very friendly too. We could not expect a better spot to rest, relax, and literally feel like in paradize.

The plankton thanks to whom we have whale sharks, whales and manta rays, usually does not cause such nuisance. Thanks to you and all our friendly Guests the creative cuisine offered at TK has given us a refined cosmopolitan reputation.

The Tsara Komba Lodge is a 4-star luxury hotel with a rare and authentic charm, in perfect keeping with Nature and with the area’s outstanding biodiversity. Also to note this really isn't a good place to bring young children - as well as the mosquitos, issue, there are no barriers on any of the terraces, in order to preserve the beautiful views, with the suites built up the side of the hill.
He had an allergic reaction to the bites.

We fully recommend this spot, and would certainly return as we know it would be a complete satisfaction. Michel was a great host, and the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful - helping us to arrange spearfishing, diving, night walks up the mountain and taking us whale watching (Michel found a pod of humpback whales, which were incredible to watch!).

We are really happy you enjoyed your stay with us as much as we enjoyed your company. However, we were exposed to plankton (aka Sea Lice) while in the water and both of us received 50 to 100 bites on our arms and legs. !Nathalie and her delightful staff made our honeymoon to Madagascar. When you reserve your stay at a lodge in Nosy Komba, you will discover that there is a great selection of spacious and comfortable places, along with tons of activities in the area. We felt completely disconnected from the world, and this was a « dream come true » honeymoon experience.
